Head of Communication

We zijn op zoek naar een Head of Communication om onze nieuwe organisatie voor de zuivel en waterdivisies uit te bouwen en om synergieën en een gemeenschappelijke taal te creëren met de beide andere divisies Nutricia Early Life Nutrition en Nutricia Advanced Medical Nutrition.

Je bent werkzaam in de afdeling ‘Corporate Affairs’. Deze afdeling is verantwoordelijk voor het opbouwen, in stand houden en beschermen van de reputatie van ons bedrijf en zijn merken. Dit omvat interne en externe communicatie, alsook public affairs, health & scientific affairs en projecten rond maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen en duurzaamheid.

Your mission
Je bent de communicatie architect en het gezicht of de stem van Danone, en draagt zo met je team je bij aan de reputatie van ons bedrijf en onze merken. Je werkt onder de vleugels van de Belgische Corporate Affairs Director en coacht en stuurt een team aan van 2 personen (en geeft indirect leiding aan 4 personen).

Deze belangrijke competentie wordt versterkt in een tijd van tansformatie, binnen de snel veranderende Fast Moving Consumer Goods markt.

Your main responsibilities

Je hebt de volgende verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Je werkt de communicatiestrategie uit naar werknemers en externe stakeholders (journalisten, bloggers, key opinion formers om het imago van ons bedrijf en onze merken uit te bouwen en te beschermen.
  • Om de business en de reputatie uit te bouwen, stel je een jaarplan op voor interne en externe communicatie samen met je collega’s, verschillende departementen en leden van de directie. Dit jaarplan weerspiegelt de filosofie en waarden van de Danone Groep zoals concreet gemaakt in ons ‘Manifesto’. Het jaarplan bevat zowel corporate als brand informatie en haakt in op actualiteit en interne thema’s. Je stemt het plan af en voert het plan en eventuele events uit met onze communicatie agentschappen.
  • Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor journalisten, beantwoordt hun vragen en stelt boodschappen/ tools op over topics die je extern wil overbrengen. Je beheert gevoelige en-of crisiscommunicatie.
  • Samen met de Head of Consumer Careline and Community Manager uit jouw team ben je verantwoordelijk voor de corporate digitale communicatie en contacten met bloggers en consumenten.
  • Je stuurt de interne communicatie aan, evalueert welke boodschap via welke kanalen moet overgebracht worden.
  • Je zet mee je schouders onder Corporate Social Responsibility projecten zoals de Danone Nations Cup.
  • Je hebt interesse in actuele topics en trends die je oppikt in de buitenwereld en naar binnen brengt in de organisatie. In dit licht evalueer je ook de boodschappen die het bedrijf wil communiceren.

Your profile

Je bent een communicator in hart en ziel, hebt Universitair niveau, het liefst in de richting van Communicatie en met minimaal 7 jaar ervaring als communicatie manager of een vergelijkbare rol. Jouw Nederlands is vloeiend in woord en geschrift en misschien spreek je ook wel Frans, wat een belangrijke bijkomstigheid zou zijn. Je kent het Belgische media landschap en weet handig gebruik te maken van Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc). Je vindt steeds de juiste formulering en slaagt erin om complexe zaken op een bevattelijke manier over te brengen. Je denkt strategisch en weet dit concreet te maken in actieplannen. Je coacht je team en stuurt hen aan naar de realisatie van het plan.

Bovendien kenmerken volgende woorden je:

Social and Digital Communication – Solvay 

Descriptif du poste

For the Corporate Function Communication, we are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Social and Digital Communication Manager who will report directly to the Group Communications General Manager.

Main accountabilities

Define and implement Solvay’s digital communication and social media strategies (internal and external)

  • Audience identification
  • Digital & social media policy evolution
  • Employee empowerment/ambassador program
  • Digital Communication architecture evolution
  • Governance (web, social media)
  • Online reputation management
  • Digital and social activities reporting with appropriate metrics, insights and best practices to improve Solvay’s impact on target audiences & social performance.

Project Solvay into the future of digital communications

  • Spearhead digital creativity & innovation in Solvay communications
  • Propose, advocate and pioneer new usages, tools, mindsets
  • Steer and plan existing tools and architecture evolutions in collaboration with SBS IS

Promote Digital Culture Through The Group

  • Organize social medial mentoring & training of users in the communication family and other specific audiences.
  • Liaise and represent communication with GBUs, IS, Digital Office, digital@solvay, etc.

Is The Corporate Webmaster Of Solvay

  • Ensure operational management of all corporate web platforms, in co-operation with editorial team for content creation
  • Ensure quality of Solvay content online – directly and in collaboration with other entities
  • Organize timely & efficient publication of corporate web content
  • Define and ensure digital governance: architecture, content, contributors, maintenance etc.
  • Animate & support web contributors network
  • Manage creation of new websites & sections (external/internal)

Manage Social Content Creation In Line With Group Editorial Positioning

  • Supervise generation, edit, publish and share day-to-day content
  • In collaboration with extended Editorial Team, develop content strategies for Solvay’s websites and online magazine (Asking More) to maximize impact in Social Media.

Manages Solvay communities: monitors & moderates user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community, in collaboration with the worldwide Solvay Communicator network

Inspire & organize the Social & Digital team

  • Lead, inspire, train, develop, support, advise, motivate, be responsible of the team
  • Supervision of existing projects, definition and follow up of digital team members’ missions, management of digital communication budget

Qualifications

  • Master degree with relevant orientation (communication/marketing, etc)
  • Strategic approach of Digital & Social media
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in digital communication

  • Work experience in an international environment with a European or global scope

Group Internal Communication Manager – Puratos

As a part of the Group Marketing Services, you are responsible for the development and implementation of the internal communication strategy, tools and programs. You will also support the training of the Puratos teams on effective communication skills in order to create Puratos brand ambassadors, to increase employee loyalty and to nurture and maintain the Puratos internal culture. You will actively help to enhance the internal formal and informal collaboration and to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, information, expertise and best cases.
Profile:

  • Minimum Master degree in communications, public relations or related field.
  • Min. 10 years’ experience in corporate communications in a large organization (preferably industrial).
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic communications plans, programs, materials and events.
  • Experience in providing strategic internal communication advice and counsel : competency with a variety of communication channels and technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, ability to develop strong partnerships/networks and to work cross-functionally at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of English is a must (spoken and written), other languages are a plus.
