Task Description:

To strengthen the Communication team, we are looking for an Internal Communications Expert Manager

You will:

  • Focus on technical expertise and individual contribution;
  • Contribute to the BICS Corporate Internal Communication strategy, resulting in a compelling story consistent with external communication;
  • Monitor the budget pertaining to Corporate Internal Communications activity;
  • Contribute to the Employee Branding Strategy liaising with the Corporate Communication Manager (MKT) to ensure an aligned and consistent approach throughout all corporate internal communication in order to maximize employee experience;
  • Ensure management of the Corporate Internal Communications Calendar, whereby recommendations are articulated and/or approved as to target population, chosen media or channel, frequency…;
  • You develop the content (presentations, keynotes, cascade material,…) to support your communication projects in collaboration with the business owner (CEO, Strategy, HR…) and the marketing team to ensure consistency with corporate (employer) branding and external communication;
  • Ensure awareness corporate wise of the Corporate Internal Communication policy to attain corporate wide compliance with the policy; contribute to regular reviews of the policy based on changing practices and needs, and recommend and take approved adaptive actions where necessary; keep appraised with new market practices and share best practices with your peers in the Proximus group;
  • Responsible for the definition (strategy) and implementation of BICS Corporate Social Responsibility program;
  • Responsible for the definition of BICS corporate internal events as part of the internal communications roadmap, and ensure implementation together with the Events Manager who ascertains the logistics.

Your Profile:

You have:

  • Excellent communications skills;
  • Organisational skills;
  • IT skills (HTML, Photoshop, etc.);
  • Writing skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of Power point, Word, …
  • Project management skills;
  • A Master degree;
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in communication;
  • Language skills: English is compulsory. French and/or Dutch are nice to have;
  • Required competencies: Creative; Flexible; Stress resistant; Takes initiative; Conscientious.
